Meredith has a sweet friend, Ann Evelyn! She and Meredith are 6 weeks apart. Her mom, Laura and I have been dear friends for as long as I can remember, and I am excited about the fun times and memories these two "little friends" will make together. They recently had a playdate, and I don't think they were quite sure what to think about each other at first! They were so fun to watch and see how they interacted together.

5 Months!

Meredith will be 5 months this Tuesday! Alan and I cannot believe how fast she is growing and how much she has changed over the last several months. At her 4 month doctor's visit, Meredith weighed 14 pounds & 7 ounces (75th percentile) and measured 24.5 inches (75th percentile) in length. Dr. Smith gave us the go-ahead to start her on cereal and fruit. She has had applesauce, bananas, and pears! So far, the bananas are definitely her favorite! Next up, peaches!

Meredith's 1st Christmas

Christmas took on an entire different meaning this year! It was extra special being our 1st Christmas with Meredith. The Lord has truly blessed us with the best gift imaginable!

Let It Snow...

Meredith got her first glimpse of snow when she woke up Saturday morning! We went right outside to let her see.

What we've been up to...

Several weeks ago, we took Meredith to see Dr. Smith for her 8-week check-up. She weighed 10 pounds and 7 ounces (50th percentile) and was 23 inches long (75th percentile). She is a growing girl!

2 Months Old! Such a "big" girl!

She has been making the best facial expressions, and has the sweetest smile with dimples on each cheek. She is talking a lot and telling us things with her "aahhs, coos, and agoos". We love listening to all her sweet sounds.

I love this picture! My Dad was holding Meredith, and they were just talking back and forth. It was so cute! I just love her little elbow propped up. They were deep in conversation.

Meredith LOVES bathtime. She gets excited the second she sees her whale tub. She kicks her little feet and likes to splash in the water.

It's a different story when it's time to get out!

Meredith's first trip to Mississippi State was definitely eventful. She helped cheer on the dawgs for a BIG win against Ole Miss at the Egg Bowl!

Meredith's "Birth" Day

It is so fun to go back and look at these picures. What an exciting day! Alan and I cannot believe Meredith is already 6 days old. We can't imagine life without her. Meredith shares her "birth" day with my parents first child, Faith, which makes this day twice as special. We love her SO much!
